This policy covers the squarecatmedia.com website, operated by SquareCat LLC ("we", "us", "our"). SquareCat LLC is a New York limited liability company.Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, which you'll find on that app's page under Apps.
What we collect
The website itself collects very little:
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, company, project details, budget range and how you heard about us.
- Server logs. Like most web servers, ours records basic technical information about each request (IP address, browser user agent, page requested and time) to keep the site running and secure.
- Usage statistics. We use PostHog to count page views and see how the site is used: which pages are visited, which links are clicked, and whether the contact form was sent (with the project type and budget range you picked, but nothing you typed). This records your browser, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the page that referred you. It isn't linked to your name or email.
We don't use cookies or advertising on this website, and our statistics don't store anything on your device, so we can't recognise you from one visit to the next. Our fonts are served from our own server rather than a third party.
How we use it
We use your message only to reply to you and to discuss the work you've asked about. We use server logs only to operate and protect the website. We use usage statistics only to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. We never sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Formspree receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- PostHog processes the usage statistics described above, on servers in the United States. See PostHog's privacy policy.
- Our email provider stores the messages we send and receive.
- Our hosting provider runs the server that serves this website and holds its logs.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it's useful for an ongoing conversation or project, and for any period the law requires us to keep business records. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@squarecatmedia.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults, and is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
